My offer post on Freecycle (a cube storage system and a few fabric bins) garnered thirty-eight responses in just a few hours. I like to think that everyone is kind and deserving, so I had to make a shortlist. I have a two-criteria system: 80% who can pick it up tonight, and 20% for formatting and spelling.

Five or six people left!

Freecycle is EVERYWHERE! Look up the one in your area. I've gotten a heap of awesome crap from there.

I do the same thing with Craigslist - if they can't type or spell properly, they don't get my stuff. I've even been known to reply with snarky "I'm sorry, I'm not selling any koches, but I did have a couch that has already sold" type messages.
